Goal:
To recuperate and foment the shepherding and flock migration as an historic activity of high ethnographic value and efficient means to prevent great forest fires.
Tools:
- Management and disposal of the vegetation in order to diminish the natural forest combustible accumulations which block shepherding and migration areas: cleansing of ravine beds and undergrowth areas, right of way for electric lines.
- Recovery of shepherding areas, always respecting biodiversity, specially fire risk due to location (ravine beds…) and/or population of species highly flammable (reedbeds)
- Recovery of cattle-drive ways to preserve the coast-midlands/top migrations.
